Curious to see your plans turn into actual roads, subdivisions, and revitalised city spaces?
This is your chance to get your boots dirty, flex your contract administration skills, and build your expertise as the vital link between the principal and the contractor. All while being backed by a collaborative, driven team. A team who’s motivated and cheering each other on. You’ll be joining a direct team of 9, but in the wider business, 80.
You’ll join an established organisation with over 40 years of credibility across Greater Sydney. Known for delivering major land development and infrastructure projects that shape how we live and work.
From large-scale subdivisions to brownfield revitalisation and bulk earthworks, they tackle it all. They’re big enough to work on landmark projects, yet small enough for your voice to matter.
Based out of Penrith CBD, a brand-new office, all the facilities you could dream of. Ample parking, public transport facilities, cafes and shopping centres. You’re spoilt for choice.
About the gig You’ll be the eyes and ears onsite.
Supervising day-to-day construction activities, ensuring quality standards are met, and verifying that works are carried out as per design and contract specifications.
You’ll step in to proactively identify and resolve site issues, keeping things on track and preventing costly surprises down the line.
On the Contracts Administration side, you’ll dive into assessing claims, tracking costs, managing supporting documentation, and maintaining clear communication between stakeholders.
You’ll review and support tender packages, assist with BOQs and estimates, and help prepare technical and financial reports that feed into bigger picture decision-making.
No two days will look the same. One day you’ll be reviewing site progress and liaising directly with contractors. The next you might be working on tender support or helping shape proposals for new projects.
You’ll get a front-row seat to the full project lifecycle, from greenfield developments to revitalisation works in city areas.
What you’ll bring
You’ve probably got over 5 years of experience under your belt in a similar capacity. Whether that’s as a site or project engineer, contracts administrator, or even a project coordinator supporting civil or infrastructure works.
You know what it’s like to juggle technical detail, keep contractors on track, and make sure the paperwork aligns with what’s happening out on site.
Ideally, you’ll have experience working across land subdivisions, roads, or major earthworks. Or you’re at least keen to learn. You may have touched on greenfield projects or city revitalisation works, and you’re comfortable engaging with plans, specifications, and technical detail.
Your communication skills are one of your biggest assets. You’re confident connecting with contractors, clients, councils, and colleagues. Translating technical updates into clear, actionable steps.
You’re comfortable working with basic programs like Excel, and you’re curious enough to keep developing your commercial acumen. Think cost tracking, supporting tenders, reviewing estimates.
You’re methodical, logical, and detail-oriented, but you also have the drive to jump in and solve problems on the spot.
You might not feel “Superintendent ready” just yet. That’s exactly why this role exists. We’re looking for someone eager to grow, take initiative, and soak up technical and on-the-ground mentorship.
Your new organisation
A trusted and highly respected partner in providing innovative Civil Engineering and Project Management services, for Land Development and Infrastructure projects is just a small snippet of who they are. It’s the people. The culture. The environment. They’ve built a strong reputation across the Greater Sydney region over the last 40 years.
As a land developer or Government client, they’ll have access to a complete range of services across strategic engineering, planning, project management, civil engineering design, stormwater management and more! To say you’ll have some pretty impressive colleagues and mentors is an understatement.
You’ll be working with a collaborative, forward-thinking team that values your contributions. Your career is front-of-mind, so growing in a role that offers leadership opportunities and technical challenges is the kind of environment you’ll get to enjoy.
