Perhaps you're returning to the workforce after raising a family.
Maybe you're an experienced Bookkeeper looking to scale back from full-time hours without sacrificing interesting work.
Or perhaps you're simply looking for a role that offers flexibility while still allowing you to use the skills you've spent years developing.
This role can be structured as four days per week or school hours across five days, providing the flexibility many larger organisations simply can't offer.
You know those businesses where people stay for 10, 15, sometimes 20 years?
Not because they have flashy offices, endless perks, or complicated career ladders.
Because the people are good.
The work is steady.
And you're trusted to do your job.
This is one of them.
For more than 60 years, Nicsons Concrete has built a reputation for quality, reliability and long-standing relationships across the construction industry. They aren’t a flashy corporation with layers of red tape and constant restructures. They’re a family-owned construction business built on loyalty, stability, and good people.
They're looking for an experienced Part-Time Bookkeeper to join their team.
For the person who likes variety:
This role sits at the heart of the office, supporting the bookkeeping and accounts administration side of the business.
You’ll be working across MYOB, accounts payable, reconciliations, supplier invoices, and job costing, the kind of work where accuracy matters and the details can’t be rushed.
While the accounts side is the core focus, the role also has a mix of general office coordination and reception support woven through it, adding variety to the day and keeping you connected to the wider team rather than sitting purely in the numbers.
Who will thrive here?
You're an experienced Bookkeeper who enjoys being organised, takes pride in accuracy, and communicates confidently with colleagues, suppliers, and customers alike.
Perhaps you've worked in a construction, trades, manufacturing, transport, or job-costing environment before. Or maybe you've built your bookkeeping career elsewhere but are looking for a stable business where your experience will be valued.
You'll have experience working across MYOB and/or Xero, managing accounts payable, reconciliations, and the day-to-day financial administration that keeps a business running smoothly.
Why do people stay?
This is a business built on long-term relationships.
People stay because they're trusted, valued, and supported.
The team is down-to-earth, supportive, and genuinely values loyalty. There are no big egos, no corporate politics, and no constant restructures. Just good people working together to get the job done.
If you're looking for flexibility, good people, and that family-business feel, we'd love to hear from you.
