They’re an established R&D recycling plant located on the Central Coast, specialising in transforming mixed solid waste (MSW) into a composite material through biological and mechanical processes. The recycling process used onsite is a patent pending technology that produces a low-cost alternative to high-grade coal or metallurgical coke, fertiliser and animal feed. This new technology also relies on thousands of insects to break down food waste and produce valuable and reusable by-products.
This newly created position has presented an opportunity for a trade qualified Electrician, who is passionate about environmental sustainability to strap in for an exciting journey to grow alongside the business. This would be a great fit for someone who’s already familiar with how things run on the manufacturing floor.
In this role you will be collaborating with engineers and will be responsible for commissioning new machinery for mobile recycling plants across various sites in NSW. You'll find yourself reading and interpret electrical schematics, connect motors, drives and PLCs to power and control circuits, preventative and reactive maintenance. This is a key role in the development of this innovative process, you'll have an opportunity to implement change and structure the role exactly how you like. This truly is a role like no other. You’ll find yourself working in unique rural setting, located in the heart of Somersby on the Central Coast.
You’ll work Monday to Friday with standard working around 6am - 2pm, however flexibility is offered. You will be based predominantly at their Central Coast facility however, ad hoc visits to alternate sites will be required.
To be successful with your application you will need to be a trade qualified Electrician, experienced within a manufacturing setting.
Successful applicants will be required to undergo a pre-employment medical including drug and alcohol testing as a part of the recruitment process.
