A business in growth mode, two sets of systems and processes, and you right in the middle helping bring it all together.
A well-established global business has recently acquired a smaller Australian company. For the next 12 months, the two are doing a bit of a long-distance relationship: operating separately while slowly merging systems, processes, and reporting.
They need a Financial Accountant who’s steady under pressure, switched on, and happy to roll up their sleeves while things are being ironed out.
The gig:
You’ll be working across both businesses, reporting to the Finance Manager and supporting an experienced Company Accountant.
Your days will involve:
Reconciling balance sheets, adjustments, transfer pricing, and statistical postings.
Working across dual systems to align data, improve accuracy, and build more efficient reporting processes.
Preparing data for auditors
Streamlining and documenting processes to make life easier for everyone.
Collaborating with a small, supportive finance team - some local, some offshore - to simplify reporting and delegate effectively.
It’s a busy environment, but also a very stable one. You’ll be joining a team that values accuracy, practicality, and a good sense of humour.
About you:
You’re a CPA-qualified Financial Accountant with experience in a product-based industry, manufacturing, resale, or something similar.
You’ve used SAP Business One (or any SAP) and you can find your way around a system faster than most.
You’re good at spotting inefficiencies and have a habit of quietly making things better. You take ownership, manage your deadlines, and bring a calm, practical energy to a team that’s juggling change.
This is a full-time, onsite role in Marsden Park, but it’s a relaxed, friendly, and beautiful office with plenty of parking, long-term staff, and a culture built on trust rather than micromanagement.
Why it’s worth your time:
Because this isn’t just another “month-end and move on” accounting role. You’ll be right in the middle of an integration project, helping two businesses align their systems, clean up processes, and build something that works.
It’s hands-on, sometimes messy, but genuinely career-defining work. The kind of experience that gives you stories (and achievements) that recruiters and CFOs love hearing about.
