Full Time

Remuneration

$110000 - $120000 per annum, Benefits: plus super

You’re not looking for another “tick-the-box” safety role.

You want ownership. Influence. A seat at the table.

This is a newly created, standalone WHSE Manager role – meaning you’re not inheriting messy systems or fighting legacy process.

You’ll own safety across the business and shape how it’s done, properly.

Practical. Commercial. People-first.

You’ll lead safety on the floor, coach leaders, influence behaviours, and build a culture where safety sticks. The kind that protects people and keeps production moving.

Day to day, you’ll run audits and risk assessments, lead toolbox talks, deliver training, coach safe behaviours, manage return-to-work programs, liaise with workers’ compensation providers, and oversee environmental and waste initiatives.

It’s hands-on, visible, and genuinely impactful.

Reporting to the Head of People & Culture, you’ll be backed by a grounded, people-first leader who is all about common-sense safety and collaborative problem-solving. You’ll have autonomy, visibility, and the trust to do your job without drowning in red tape.

Love an early start, early finish? Hours are Monday to Thursday, 6:00am–2:30pm, and Friday 5:00am–1:00pm.

You

This role suits someone who can balance compliance with real-world operations.

You know how to influence across the business, partner with leaders, and embed safety into how work gets done – not just how it’s documented.

You’ll bring 5+ years’ WHSE experience (ideally manufacturing or production), a practical mindset, and strong influencing skills.

You’re solutions-focused, commercially aware, and comfortable working on the floor as much as in the office.

Experience across safety systems, audits, toolbox talks, training, RTW and environmental initiatives is key.

Why we love Interpod

Interpod is an Australian manufacturer specialising in modular bathroom pods for major construction and infrastructure projects. They’re producing around 33 pods a day and scaling fast – investing in leadership, systems and safety as they grow.

The culture is grounded and family oriented. Leaders are approachable, the environment is supportive, and they pride themselves on team engagement (they love a Friday lunch together).

This is a WHSE role where your voice matters, your ideas get implemented, and your impact is visible.

Own the role. Shape the culture. Make safety stick.
