I am looking for a Panel Beater to join a well-established, family-owned Australian manufacturer based in Brendale. With over 40 years of industry experience, this business specialises in the design and manufacture of high-quality sleeper cabs supplied to major trucking companies across Australia.
They provide a broad range of specialised fibreglass solutions to a large and diverse client base, including custom builds, repairs, and modifications. Their capabilities also include the manufacture of custom sleeper cabs, fibreglass components, and aerodynamic air deflectors, all produced to high industry standards.
Due to continued growth and demand, they are seeking an experienced, hands-on Panel Beater or Automotive Painter to join their production team.
This is a stable, workshop-based role where practical panel shop experience is essential.
The Role Key responsibilities include:
Bogging and surface preparation
Priming and spray gun application
Prep and paint of fiberglass components
Operating air and power tools
Working with machinery, templates and jigs
Completing basic QA and job-related documentation
Adhering to all workplace health and safety procedures
About You To be successful in this role, you will have:
Previous experience working in a panel shop environment (essential)
Exposure with bogging, priming and spray gun use
Experience preparing fiberglass for priming (highly regarded)
Strong hand tool skills
A strong eye for detail and commitment to quality workmanship
The ability to follow direction and work effectively within a team
A reliable and hardworking attitude
Formal qualifications are not required — this client values proven, practical experience over certifications. Open to Junior candidates as long as they have relevant workshop exposure.
What’s on Offer
Competitive hourly rate- $40 casual
Ongoing Day shift- 6am starts. (Mon-Fri)
Friday 1pm finish
