Not someone who waits for leads to land in their inbox.
Someone who picks up the phone, opens doors and sees commercial opportunity where others haven’t looked yet.
AGRANA knows there’s growth to be found. Across Australia. Asia and South America. Across new customers, distributors, categories and applications.
They need someone to go find it.
This isn’t a role where you’ll inherit a portfolio and spend your time maintaining it. You’ll be out building what comes next. Finding new customers, opening new markets and turning an initial conversation into a genuine commercial opportunity.
And when you find one? You’ll own it.
From prospecting and building the business case through to bringing the right internal teams together and taking the opportunity to commercialisation.
Once a strategic customer is established and ready to be managed? It can transition to the Key Account team.
Then you go find the next one.
What could that look like?
One week, you could be developing a new Australian customer. The next, you’re building a relationship with a distributor in Asia, attending an industry event interstate or exploring an entirely new application for AGRANA’s pouch platform.
There’s scope across dairy, beverages, desserts, nutrition, bakery and broader food manufacturing. But you won’t be limited to what the business is already doing.
A big part of your remit is asking: where else could we take this?
East and Southeast Asia are a particular focus, with opportunities to develop export markets, build international distributor and customer relationships and identify new routes to market.
Expect several interstate trips each month, along with international travel as those markets develop.
Autonomy, with a global business behind you.
You won’t be measured by where you’re sitting.
Design your calendar around the opportunities in front of you. Be at Central Mangrove when you need to be, work from home when it makes sense, and get on a plane when the opportunity takes you interstate or overseas.
You’ll have room to run with an opportunity, but you won’t have to commercialise it alone.
You’ll work across Commercial, Product Development, Operations, Supply Chain, Marketing and Finance, bringing the right people together to turn an idea into something commercially viable.
And you’ll be doing it within AGRANA, a global food business with approximately 9,000 employees across 55 production sites, 25 countries and five continents.
Locally, AGRANA Fruit Australia has around 160 employees at its Central Mangrove site, with a culture built around ownership, collaboration and giving people the responsibility to make things happen.
Food, FMCG or food ingredients experience will give you a head start, as will exposure to distributors, export markets or international customers.
But more than anything, we’re looking for someone who genuinely likes the hunt.
Someone who would rather create the opportunity than inherit it.
For that person, there’s a lot to build here.
