You know those businesses where people stay for 10, 15, sometimes 20 years?
This is one of them.
Nicsons Concrete isn’t a flashy corporate with layers of red tape and constant restructures. They’re a family-owned construction business built on loyalty, stability, and good people.
The kind of place where everyone knows each other, the Directors are still hands on, there’s no big egos in the office, and you’re trusted to do your job.
For the person who likes variety:
This role sits at the heart of the office, supporting the bookkeeping and accounts administration side of the business.
You’ll be working across MYOB, accounts payable, reconciliations, supplier invoices, and job costing, the kind of work where accuracy matters and the details can’t be rushed.
While the accounts side is the core focus, the role also has a mix of general office coordination and reception support woven through it, adding variety to the day and keeping you connected to the wider team rather than sitting purely in the numbers.
This role would suit someone who enjoys structure, likes being busy, takes pride in accuracy, and wants to be part of a stable business long term.
The environment is fast paced, but not chaotic.
They need someone detail oriented. Someone who understands bookkeeping fundamentals and can confidently own their role.
MYOB experience is essential.
Why people stay:
This isn’t a business with one small office and nowhere to grow. The family owns multiple businesses, and this role has the potential to evolve over time into broader payroll, operational, or accounts support across the wider group.
For the right person, there’s genuine long-term stability here, with the opportunity to become a trusted part of a successful family business that continues to grow.
If you’re looking for stability, good people, and that ‘family feel’, apply now or contact Natalie ngleeson@rarekind.com.au
