Meat Processing Labourer

Location: Ipswich, Queensland
Hours: 40 hours per week 3am starts 
Overtime: Available

Located in Ipswich, Queensland, our client is perfectly positioned between Australia’s prime livestock regions and the Port of Brisbane. They’re all about getting the best meat from farm to plate as quickly as possible – no “beef” about it!
Our client’s modern boning room and expert team process beef, lamb, and pork, with the ability to customize orders to meet specific needs (no two steaks are the same, after all). They also help process meat for foodservice, because who doesn’t love knowing their product will end up on someone’s plate of glory?

Position Overview:

• Boning pigs
• Assisting in processing beef, lamb, and pork (don’t worry, we won’t make you count sheep)
• Further processing for foodservice (basically, helping make food dreams come true)
• Keeping the work environment cleaner than your kitchen after a BBQ

What They’re Looking For:

• Experience in meat works (preferred, but if you’ve never boned a pig, they’ll teach you)
• Punctuality (because meat waits for no one)
• A solid work ethic and willingness to learn (if you can butcher a joke, you can butcher meat!)
• Ability to work 5am starts (we know it’s early, but think of the bacon!)
